Everyone who uses SignBlink has their own sign-in. Team members are free, and there's no limit.

Roles

RoleCan do
OwnerEverything, including billing, ownership, API keys and removing screens.
AdminContent, publishing, approvals, screens, alerts, reports, team and organization settings. Billing and ownership stay with owners.
EditorAdd content, edit playlists and schedules, connect screens, send alerts and publish. Existing staff members keep this access.
ContributorCreate content and request approval before publishing; view reports.
Front deskView screens and send emergency alerts.
ViewerView content and screens, with no permission to change them.

Team managers can create custom roles from the permission checkboxes. They can grant only permissions and screen access they have themselves. An approval role also needs permission to publish.

Invite someone

  1. Go to Settings → Team.
  2. Under Invite someone, enter their email and choose a role.
  3. Choose every screen, or selected screens and groups. Group access includes screens added to that group later.
  4. Choose Create invitation.

They get an email with a link to join. The link works once and expires in 7 days. You can also copy the link and send it yourself. Pending invitations are listed until they're accepted, and you can cancel one at any time.

Change a role or remove someone

Use Edit access beside a member to change their role and screens. Owners can change anyone's role; other team managers can manage members within their own permissions. Removing someone signs them out and ends their access to your organization straight away. An organization always keeps at least one owner.

Content and playlists remain shared across the organization. Screen access limits which screens a member can see, operate and publish to. Organization-wide settings require access to all screens. Quick posts cannot automatically publish a shared playlist to screens outside a member's access.

After-hours designs refresh live. Editing or removing one needs publishing permission for every affected screen. Contributors can duplicate the design to prepare a separate draft for review.

Approvals

Contributors use the normal Publish dialog to choose screens and Request approval. The request appears under Approvals. An approver can preview it, decline it, or Approve & publish. Authors can withdraw pending requests.

If a draft changes after submission, the old request cannot publish it. The author should withdraw that request and submit the updated draft again. Approval publishes the update; delivery confirmation still depends on the player checking in.

More than one organization

One sign-in can belong to several organizations, for example if you manage signs for more than one business. Switch between them at the top of the menu.
