Schedule playlists by time and day
A breakfast menu in the morning, lunch at noon, a weekend promotion — set it once and it switches by itself.
Each screen has a main playlist that plays whenever nothing else is scheduled. Add time slots to play other playlists at certain times.
Add a time slot
- Open the screen and go to What plays.
- Under Scheduled playlists, choose Add a time slot.
- Pick the playlist, the days (or use Weekdays, Weekends or Every day), and the start and end times. Make start and end the same for all day.
- Optionally, choose Only between certain dates, for a promotion or a holiday week. It stops automatically after the last day.
- Save, then publish the screen.
This week shows a calendar of what plays when, so you can check there are no gaps or surprises.
How it decides what plays
- Outside every time slot, the main playlist plays.
- When time slots overlap, the one higher in the list wins. Use the arrows to reorder them.
- Times use the screen's own time zone, including daylight saving. Set it on the screen's Settings tab.
- A slot can run past midnight, like 8 pm to 2 am.
Many screens with the same schedule
Schedules belong to each screen. If you want several screens to follow the same timetable, give them all the same playlists, or schedule the items inside one playlist instead. See Show an item only for a while.
