Groups — manage many screens at once

Put screens in groups to change what they play, publish, mute or restart them together.

If you have more than a couple of screens, groups save a lot of clicking: "All menu boards", "Lobby screens", "Downtown store".

Make a group

  1. Go to Screens and choose New group (it appears once you have two or more screens; later, use the + beside the group buttons).
  2. Name it and pick the screens that belong to it. A screen can be in more than one group.

What you can do with a group

Choose the group at the top of the Screens page. Actions then apply to all of its screens:

  • Change what they play: the playlist you choose becomes the main playlist on every screen in the group. Their schedules stay as they are. You'll publish next.
  • Publish them together.
  • Mute or unmute them.
  • Restart their players.

Groups are also handy when sending an alert to only some screens, and in the API.

Deleting a group only removes the group; the screens and what they show stay exactly as they are.
