Background music
Play your own tracks, free music that's cleared for businesses, or an internet radio station through your screens.
Screens can play background music through the TV's speakers while your content plays. Music has its own playlists, under Music.
Make a music playlist
- Go to Music → New music playlist.
- Add music in any of three ways:
- Upload your own MP3, M4A, WAV or FLAC files, or add tracks already in your library.
- Free music for businesses: search by mood and add Creative Commons tracks whose licence allows playing them in a business. Each track's credit is saved with it.
- Add an internet radio station: paste the station's stream link (on the station's website, look for a "listen" or "stream" link ending in
.mp3,.aac,.plsor.m3u).
- Drag tracks into order, or turn on Shuffle.
Every track is evened out, so none is suddenly louder than the rest.
Play it on a screen
- Open the screen and go to its Sound tab.
- Choose the Music playlist, the Volume, and when to Play music: whenever the screen is on, or only during set hours.
- Save, then publish.
See Volume, quiet hours and video sound for volume, quiet hours and what happens when a video has its own sound.
Music for one design
A design can also have its own song, which plays while that design is on screen: in the designer, add Widgets → Music → Song for this design.
