Move a screen to a new TV or player
Swap the player behind a screen without losing its playlists, schedules or settings.
A screen in SignBlink keeps its name, playlists, schedules, sound and settings no matter which player runs it. To move it to a new TV or a different player:
- Start SignBlink on the new player. It shows a 6-character code.
- In SignBlink, open the screen and go to its Player tab (or choose ⋯ → Connect or replace player).
- Under Replace the player, enter the code.
The new player takes over straight away and the old one is disconnected. Nothing else changes.
Disconnecting a player
On the Player tab, choose Disconnect to unlink the player. The TV goes back to showing a pairing code, and you can reconnect it (or another player) any time. The screen and everything it plays stay in SignBlink.
