Use your own brand fonts
Upload your typefaces once and pick them in the designer like any other font.
SignBlink comes with dozens of fonts. If your business has its own typeface, upload it and your designs can match your menus, signs and website.
Upload a font
- Go to Settings › Organization and find Brand fonts. (In the designer, you can also open any Font menu and choose Upload a brand font….)
- Drop your font files in, or choose Choose files. TTF, OTF, WOFF and WOFF2 files work, up to 10 MB each.
- Add every style you have at once: Regular, Bold, Italic and so on. SignBlink reads the name inside each file and groups them into one font.
The font appears at the top of every font menu in the designer, under Your fonts. The weight menu offers the weights you uploaded. A variable font offers every weight it covers.
On your screens
Brand fonts travel with the designs that use them. Screens download the font files with the rest of your content and keep them for playing offline. After you upload a font for the first time, publish once so your screens get it.
Rename or remove a font
- Rename: choose the pencil next to the font's name. Designs keep using it.
- Remove one style: choose the × on that style. Text set in it uses the closest style left.
- Remove the font: choose the bin. SignBlink lists the designs that use it first. Their text changes to Inter the next time you publish.
Licenses
Many fonts you buy allow printing and desktop use but need a web or digital signage license to be used on screens. Check your font's license, or ask whoever designed your brand. Free fonts from Google Fonts are fine to use.
Brand fonts belong to your account. They aren't shared with other accounts, and a design you share with someone else uses Inter in place of your font.
