Your screens, connected to everything you run.
The SignBlink API lets your other software work with your screens: update menus from your point of sale, send alerts from your safety system, and know the moment a screen goes offline. Free on every plan.
REST and JSON · OpenAPI file · examples in cURL, JavaScript and Python
# Every screen, straight away. No publishing. curl https://app.signblink.com/api/v1/alerts \ -H "Authorization: Bearer $SIGNBLINK_KEY" \ -H "Content-Type: application/json" \ -d '{ "style": "emergency", "title": "Lockdown", "body": "Lock doors and stay out of sight.", "allScreens": true }'
What people build with it.
Menus that follow the till
When an item sells out or a price changes in your point of sale, upload the new picture and swap it into the playlist, published in the same request.
Alerts from your safety system
A panic button, fire panel or weather service sends a lockdown or evacuation message to every screen, and ends it when the all-clear comes.
Status on your dashboard
A read-only key lists every screen with its live status and problems, so your monitoring or IT dashboard knows when one goes dark.
Everything you'd do in the dashboard.
- Screens: live status, change what plays, restart a player, take a screenshot
- Playlists: create them, replace their items, add or remove one item
- Media: upload a file, or give a web address and SignBlink fetches it
- Publishing: one screen, a group, or everything, with delivery to every TV
- Alerts: send and end emergency alerts and announcements
- Groups and designs: list them to target the right screens and content

Safe by design.
A key per system
Name each key after what uses it, like "Menu sync", and delete one without touching the others.
Read-only keys
Status boards and monitoring get keys that can look but never change anything.
Every action logged
Whatever a key does shows in your Activity log under its name, beside your team's changes.
Drafts or live
Changes are drafts until you publish, just like the dashboard, or add "publish": true to go live at once.
Generous limits
120 requests a minute per key, with a clear error that says what happened if you go over.
Built for developers
An OpenAPI 3.1 file for Postman and code generators, and examples for every endpoint.
Free with every account.
No developer plan and no per-call fees. Account owners create keys in Settings → API.
